IP for Social Good
We are pleased to release our IPAVentures latest concept piece, “IP for Social Good,” which delves into how the IP system could be leveraged to advance social good in Australia, or more broadly.
This piece explores research around three major concepts to question and consider whether the future IP system could potentially play a role in:
- increasing the volume and quality of social innovation
- amplifying positive social impact, and
- minimising potential harm from innovation.
This publication does not represent an official stance by IP Australia. It is an exploratory piece of work, and we encourage you to think about what the appropriate boundaries for IP Australia’s role might be.
